Basically, I'm aspiring to see, write, talk, and ultimately, communicate better. Being a human means getting to practice this stuff everyday. It's awesome.
I think photography is how I deal with the fact that one day I'm going to die. It's like every time I press the shutter, I'm tricking myself into thinking that I'm leaving something behind. I started back in 2010 when I bought my first DSLR and I carried that thing everywhere. In 2012, I switched to iPhoneography. After three years, I was itching to shoot more seriously. So, I starting shooting traditional film. This is what I shoot with today.
For me, writing still feels like running uphill. I don't love it, but for some reason I keep doing it. So for now, I'll blog along as a white belt.
I'm juuuuusssttt starting to do this. It's a blast to get to sit down with people for a couple hours undistracted by our cell phones. Keep an eye out for the launch of the podcast!
